The Neurobiology Doctoral Students Workshop (NeuroDoWo) has always been organized by PhD students for PhD students. This peer‑led spirit is what makes the event unique: a supportive, interdisciplinary environment where early‑career neuroscientists can connect, exchange ideas, and grow together.
For NeuroDoWo 2026 in Würzburg, our local organizing team, all current PhD students at the University of Würzburg, is preparing an inspiring program including keynote lectures, student talks, poster sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
Our Organizing Committee

Organizing Committee of NeuroDoWo at Alte Mainbrücke, with Marienberg Fortress in the background, Würzburg

We are a small but passionate group of PhD candidates from diverse neuroscience labs across the University of Würzburg. Together, we coordinate every aspect of the workshop, from scientific program development and speaker invitations to logistics, funding, and participant support.
Why We Do This
As fellow PhD students, we understand how valuable a low‑pressure, student‑focused conference can be. NeuroDoWo provides a space where you can present your work, receive constructive feedback, and build lasting connections without the usual academic hierarchy. We are excited to create that space again in 2026.
